The OWC Envoy enclosure is specifically designed for use only with the factory SSD found installed in the Mac models listed in compatibility. Do not attempt to install or use an OWC Aura SSD as external storage in an Envoy enclosure. This may damage the Aura drive, the Envoy enclosure, or both.
